Change the recipient of training requests

Change who training requests should be sent to.

By default, training requests are sent to the employee's manager, then the HR group as a fallback.

Change the recipient for all employees

You can amend who training requests get sent to by following the steps below.

  1. Click Configuration, click Configuration.

  2. Click Workflow Approval Rules.

  3. Open the Training Approval Rule.

  4. Click Edit, select one of the following:

    • A Specific User

    • A Specific User Group

    • Employee's Head of Unit

    • Employee's Manager

    • Employee's Project Manager

    • Employee's Supervisor

  5. Click Continue.


Change the recipient for a specific employee

You can also set an override for just one employee if required. To do so, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Configuration, click Configuration.

  2. Click Workflow Approval Rules.

  3. Open the Training Approval Rule.

  4. Click the Overrides tab, then click New.

  5. Select the employee you wish to change the training request recipient for, then click Continue.

  6. Select an approver, then click Continue.
