When an alteration to a standard process is required, we strongly advise that you create a copy of the process to preserve its standard nature. Then, you can make the changes to the copied process and assign it to the menu set.

Create a copy of a process

To create a copy of a process, you can follow the steps below.

  1. In the Admin Tool, click Processes.

  2. Scroll down to find the required process.

  3. Highlight it and click on Create a copy of the selected process on the right-hand side.

  4. Rename the copied process as appropriate.

  5. Make any required changes.

  6. Go back to the Homepage of the Admin Tool.

  7. Now navigate to Menus.

  8. Select the required menu set.

  9. Drill into the required section of the menu.

  10. Click Add Item.

  11. Select Existing Process.

  12. Select an appropriate filter.

  13. Scroll down the list of processes to find the new one created above, then click OK.

Amend a form within a process

If there is a form within the process that also needs to be amended, you will need to create a copy of the existing form and then use that copy to replace the original in your newly copied process.

Change the field list on a process

If there is a field list within the process that also needs to be amended, you will need to create a copy of the existing field list and then use that copy to replace the original in your newly copied process.

Assistance with custom configuration

It's important to know that this level of reconfiguration is advanced and requires very good knowledge of the Admin Tool.

If you do not feel confident in making these changes, support is unable to make these changes for you, and as such, we would recommend that you take up consultancy for either training or implementation of the changes on your behalf.

If you are interested in training or implementation via consultancy, please contact your account manager or raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
