When an address is altered and the system recognises that a Change of Address letter has not been sent, this batch job will run.

This comes from a Batch Job called RTI - Email HMRC Notification Letter (Address Change).

To inspect this batch job, follow these steps.

  1. In the Admin Tool, click Batch Jobs.

  2. Scroll through the list and double-click RTI - Email HMRC Notification Letter (Address Change). The Job Properties appear.

There are also two other batch jobs that send notifications to the HMRC. They are called:

  • RTI - Email HMRC Notification Letter (Name Change)
Only sent for changes to Names

  • RTI - Email HMRC Notification Letter (New Employee)
    Only sent for New Employees

Audit changes to an address

To see who changed the address and when, you can run an audit against the address record.
