This error occurs because the item has been assigned to an employee and completed through the onboarding process.
If you need to remove the checklist item for any reason, follow these steps.
Click Configuration and then Checklist Definitions.
Select the Onboarding check box.
Click Copy Template. A record named Onboarding (Copy) will be created.
Click Onboarding (Copy).
On the Checklist Items tab, click the Checklist Item that needs to be removed.
Click Delete.
🤓 Tip: Rename the original Onboarding Checklist Definition to something like DO NOT USE Onboarding to avoid confusion for other HR assistants about which checklist to use.
