This article explains how to create a slideshow in SelectHR, add slides, and display it on a dashboard. It also includes best practice advice for protecting your configuration from future updates.
Best practice guidance before making changes
To prevent your configuration from being overwritten by future patches or upgrades, follow these best practices:
Always create a copy of any item (form, process, workflow, etc.) you plan to modify. Make changes to the copy.
Do not delete the original item. Instead, disable it and replace it in your menus or processes with the copy.
Use a test environment to try out configuration changes before applying them to your live system.
You must have access to an Unrestricted Menu Set to follow the steps in this article.
Create a new slideshow
Log into SelectHR using a HR Unrestricted Menu Set.
Under Configuration, click Slideshow Manager.
On the right-hand side, click New.
Enter a name for the slideshow.
Enter the duration (in seconds) for how long each slide should display.
Click Save.
Once saved, youโll see a listing where the slides will be stored under this slideshow.
