This error usually occurs because the process linked to the dashboard button is not assigned to the relevant menu set.
Locate the name of the link control
Follow the steps below to identify the name of the dashboard link control.
Under Configuration, click Dashboard Link Controls.
Locate the item name of the dashboard control that contains the non-functioning button.
Add the process to the relevant menu set
In the Admin Tool, click Menus.
Select the required menu set.
Drill into the relevant section of the menu.
Click Add Item.
Select Existing Process.
Choose an appropriate filter.

Scroll through the list of processes to locate the one associated with the dashboard button.
Click OK to add it.
