There may be occasions when you need to view absence records that are pending or have been deleted.
In the standard configuration, the absence history listing is set up to only show live absences.
A configuration change is required to enable pending absences to be visible.
Display pending absences in the Absence History listing
In the Admin Tool, click Menus.
Double-click your HR menu set and then go to the Absence Zone.
Double-click Absence History. This will open the Absence History process to edit.
On the right hand side click on System and then Yes, to unlock it.
Click Absence History (List) and expand the Data section. There are options to allow certain records such as live and pending.
The default checked is Live Data and Pending Update.
To show pending absence requests in the absence history listing, enable Pending Authorisation by clicking the checkbox. This will show pending and live absence requests in the Absence History listing, but the user needs to know the difference between the two.
