The workflow log in the Admin Tool enables administrators to monitor and manage workflow tasks, including those that are running, completed, or failed.
β
This feature is essential for identifying and resolving issues, as workflows often fail to complete because users have not finalised processes on their end. Follow the steps below to check the status of workflows and take necessary actions, such as reassigning tasks or terminating workflows.
The workflow log is particularly useful for identifying what stage an absence request workflow is at. For example, it will allow you to see if an absence request is waiting on a manager to approve.

To check the status of a workflow, follow these steps.
In the Admin Tool, click Workflow Log.
Using the date pickers, select a date range to display entries between two dates. This will display workflows started between the specified dates.
On the right side of the workflow log, use the check boxes to filter the displayed workflows based on whether they are Running, Completed, or Failed.
Running: Running workflows that are still in progress.
Completed: Workflows that have reached their final stage and are completed.
Failed: Workflows that have encountered issues whilst being run by the user.
In the workflow log, you will have the option to re-assign tasks to another user or terminate workflows.
