This is an automated reminder that a Workflow Task is overdue

The system includes a batch job called SYSTEM - Workflow Maintenance, which terminates workflows stuck at the first stage and sends reminders for workflow tasks that haven't been actioned within a specified time.

If the batch job identifies that a task has been with a user for any of the following periods of time:

  • 3 Days

  • 1 Week

  • 2 Weeks

An automated email reminder will be sent out to that user to remind them to action the task. This will only ever be sent out where there is an active task at the time the batch job runs - the system will not send these reminders out without an actively running task assigned to the user.

πŸ“Œ Note: The initiator of an absence request will also receive a reminder email if their manager is yet to approve or decline the request. This can be disregarded by the user.
