Amend a mail merge template

Make changes to a mail merge template.

To amend the body of an existing mail merge template, follow the steps below.

  1. In the Admin Tool, click Mail Merges.

  2. Find and double-click the Mail Merge that needs amending. A Mail Merge Properties window appears.

  3. On the Template And Merge Data tab, click View/Edit Template (in blue).

  4. Make the appropriate amendments.

  5. To save the amendments, in the top right, click Close (X). The document saves on closure; therefore, the Save button on the Word document should not be used.

  6. On the Mail Merge Properties window, click OK to finalise the changes.
