To create a record for a disciplinary action against an employee, follow the steps below.
Under Employees, click Employee.
Click Additional, then click Other.
Click Disciplinaries then select the relevant employee record.
Click New.
Enter the Invoked Date. There are options to enter the following non-mandatory fields:
Date of Meeting: This is the date of any disciplinary meeting.
Meeting Time: This is the time that any disciplinary meeting is due to/has taken place.
Expiry Date: This is the date of expiry for the disciplinary.
Review Date: This is the date of review for this disciplinary.
Type: This is where the type of offense can be specified, using the provided look-ups in the drop-down list.
Reason: This is where the specific reason for this disciplinary can be specified, using the provided look-ups in the drop-down list.
Disciplinary By: This is where the person conducting the disciplinary can be specified, using the magnifying glass symbol.
Disciplinary Companion: This is where if the employee has elected to bring a Disciplinary Companion, this person can be specified using the magnifying glass symbol.
Notes: This is a section where any additional information not covered by other fields can be input.
Once the required fields have been completed, click Save & Return.
View existing disciplinary records in a manager menu set
To view a disciplicary as a manager, follow the steps below.
Click Additional.
Under Disputes click Disciplinaries.
Select the relevant employee record.
Select the relevant disciplinary record to view further details.
