This is a known issue caused by the person being deleted having a family event record assigned to them.

Follow the steps below based on the scenario which is true for the employee.

Scenario

Steps to take

The person I am trying to delete is a current employee

  1. Click Absence, Absence, Family Leave.

  2. Open the record for the person you are trying to delete.

  3. Select a family event record, and click Delete.

  4. Repeat step 3 for all family event records.

You will now be able to delete the person record via the delete person process.

The person I am trying to delete is not a current employee

  1. Log into the administrator tool.

  2. Click Menus.

  3. Open the HR menu set you make use of.

  4. On the left, under absence, click Absence.

  5. On the right, double click Family Leave.

  6. On the right, unlock the process by clicking the padlock icon.

  7. On the left, click People (List).

  8. On the right, expand Data.

  9. Next to the is in the following list field, click Change.

  10. Select All Employees from the list, click OK.

  11. Click Apply.

  12. In the SelectHR website, click Absence, Absence, Family Leave.

  13. Open the record for the person you are trying to delete.

  14. Select a family event record, and click Delete.

  15. Repeat step 3 for all family event records in the list.
