Notifications to the HR team from SelectHR are typically sent to all users in the HR user group.
If an administrator assigned to the HR user group leaves the business, it isn't sufficient to disable their user account. You will need to remove the user from the HR user group.
Once the user is removed from the HR user group, notifications bound for the HR group will no longer include this user as a recipient.

Stop notifications from going to a HR administrator who has now left the business.
