Fixed end dates within career history records do not integrate with the SelectPay system.

SelectPay can only hold one post at a time and does not retain a history in the same way that it does with pay history records.
​
As such, fixed end dates are not useful to SelectPay and are therefore not submitted.
​
Their purpose inside of SelectHR is for reporting only. If you wish to end an employee's contract with the business, you should use the leaver workflow or add an end date to their appointment record.
