Map pay elements to SelectPay.

If you use both SelectHR and SelectPay, to ensure the integration works smoothly and your data transfers accurately, you need to map your pay elements.

To do this, follow the steps in the relevant section below.

Hosted

If you're an Access-hosted customer, we need to map the pay elements for you.

Please raise a new case online, including the following information:

  • Pay element name in SelectPay.

  • Pay element name in SelectHR.

  • Name of the relevant HR payroll.


On Premise

If you're hosted on-premise, watch the video or follow the steps below.

πŸ“ŒNote: You need access to the Service Administrator to do this. You may need to ask your IT team to grant access.

  1. From the relevant folder, right-click AccessSelect.ServerAdmin.

  2. Select Run as administrator then, if required, enter your login details.

  3. Click the Payroll Schedule tab then click Stop.

  4. Click Payroll then select Configure.

  5. From the SelectHR payroll to configure menu, select the relevant payroll.

  6. Click Variables then, from the Transferable items menu, select Adjustments.

  7. Under Payroll Description, locate the relevant SelectPay pay element.

  8. Under Select HR Description, select the SelectHR pay element to map.

  9. Click Apply then click OK.

  10. Click Close then click Apply.

  11. Click OK then click OK again.

  12. Click Close then click Start.

⚠️ Important: Special characters are not permitted in the naming.
