Future holiday history records

Information on the creation of future holiday history records.

Future holiday history records automatically generate if one of the following criteria is met.

  • One month before the start of the new holiday year.

  • Employee books a holiday that falls into the new year.

  • If you create it through the Update Holiday Rule workflow.

To create the new holiday history year through the Update Holiday Rule workflow, follow the steps below.

πŸ“ŒNote: This applies to all employees on the same holiday rule.

  1. Under Absence, click Absence.

  2. Click the Holiday History process.

  3. From the Display x per page drop-down menu, select 1000.

  4. To select all employees, select the check box in the top left corner.

  5. Click Update Holiday Rule. When the confirmation appears, click OK.

  6. Select the relevant holiday rule, then click Continue.

  7. In the Year filter, enter the relevant year, then press Enter on the keyboard.

  8. For the new holiday year, select the check box on the left.

  9. Click Continue.
