Probation emails are being sent out for leavers

Probation review notifications are generated by the Probation Review Notification batch job.

The batch job data source, which denotes which records need to be processed, does not filter on appointment end date in any way at all.

As such, if an employee has an upcoming probation review record, but they have already left the company, you will still get a notification reminding you that the probation review is upcoming.

It is recommended that if an employee leaves before their probation review date, that you delete the probation review record for them in order to prevent the batch job processing it.

If you would prefer to leave the probation review record in place, you will need to discard the email when it is received.
