This error prompt is seen when an ordinary/additional leave record has been applied to a family leave record, where the start date of the ordinary/additional leave is more than 26 weeks from the start date of the family leave record.

To resolve this, follow these steps.

  1. Under Absence, click Absence.

  2. Click Family Leave, then open the impacted employee record.

  3. Open the impacted family event record.

  4. Click on the Maternity Details tab.

  5. Click Amend Ordinary/Additional Leave.

  6. Ensure the ordinary leave start date is correct, but do not tick the Create Additional Leave checkbox. This must be within 26 weeks of the family event start date.

  7. Click Complete.

  8. Open the impacted family leave record.

  9. Assign the required Actual Date of Birth.

  10. Click Save.

  11. Click on the Maternity Details tab.

  12. Click Amend Ordinary/ Additional Leave.

  13. Ensure the ordinary leave start date is correct. This must be within 26 weeks of the family event start date.

  14. (Optional) Tick the Create Additional Leave checkbox if required.

  15. Click Complete.
