If the employee's holiday history record doesn't reflect the carryover value you expect, review the holiday rule configuration. To do so, follow the below steps:
Click Absence, then select Lookups.
Select Absence, then select Holiday Rules.
Click the relevant holiday rule.
Click Carryover.

What is the maximum number of days that can be carried over? | Set to the relevant maximum that anyone on this holiday rule should be allowed to carry over. |
How should any remainder be used? | Set to a type different from holiday. |
How should any remainder be used? | If you don't want to allow anything additional to the maximum carryover value, set it to No Overrideβ. |
If the carryover is too high for a specific employee, check if they have a career level holiday rule override set on their latest career record.
