If an employee should be able to book a half day but is unable to, verify whether the current working pattern has added working schedules and if these are configured correctly with periods.
SelectHR determines the number of days an employee books off based on the periods defined in the working schedules of the working pattern assigned to that employee.
In most cases, when an employee follows a standard shift (e.g., 9am-5pm), their working schedule is typically divided into two periods, such as:
09:00 - 12:00
13:00 - 17:00
Each period counts as 0.5 days, with both periods totalling one full day. As a result, employees can book a half day by selecting one of the two periods.
