Copilot acts as a confidential personal assistant which sits within the Access Button, providing answers to day-to-day queries using open AI, as well as Policy Documents stored on SelectHR.
This enables all users, whether an employee, manager, or administrator, to access vital information quickly.
π Note: Copilot is a SelectHR Evo feature.
How to use Copilot
To get answers to day-to-day questions, click Access Button, then click Copilot and enter your question. Alternatively, to get answers to questions about SelectHR data, click SelectHR Skills and enter your question.
π Note: Users are limited to 10 messages per conversation, 50 messages per 24h, and 4000 character limit per message.

SelectHR Skills (Document Store)
Copilot SelectHR Skills (Documents) allows you to query policy, process, or information documents that have been uploaded to the SelectHR Policy Document folder or subfolders.

For Copilot to generate answers to your employees' and managers' questions, you need to store your documents in the SelectHR Policy Documents folder.
Policy Documents become available to Copilot when a new document is uploaded or an existing document is updated. This means that if you already have documents stored in the Policy Document folder, you will need to update the document in one of the following ways before it will be available to Copilot:

Existing policy documents (uploaded before your upgrade to SelectHR Evo) are not available to Copilot until they are changed in some way e.g. uploading a new version, renaming the doc.
New documents and amended documents are made available to Copilot via a batch process which runs every 5 minutes. This means that there may be a delay between uploading the document/making a change to a document and the latest document being available to Copilot.
The Copilot search currently only accepts .pdf, .doc, and .docx documents.
Copilot only surfaces answers relevant to users' permission level.
Copilot does not surface answers from documents held in other areas of SelectHR.
