Effective date not updating in SelectPay pending changes

Changing an employee's pay history effective date does not update in SelectPay.

Ensure that the pay type on the pay history record is not set to either of the following:

  • Hourly Rate (Basic Hours)

  • Hourly Rate (No Basic Hours)

These elements are primarily used for timesheet submissions to SelectPay and do not send effective rate changes for the pay history record.

We therefore advise that you are using Period Amount instead.
