Name change has sent to SelectPay with a question mark

A pending change for employee name change has sent the new change through with a question mark.

If an employee’s first name or surname contains an en dash (–) instead of a hyphen (-), a pending change may be sent to SelectPay incorrectly, often showing a question mark instead.

To correct this, edit the employee's name in SelectHR by following these steps.

  1. Click Employees, then click Employees.

  2. Click Details, then click into the relevant employee.

  3. Review and edit the employee's first name and surname, then click Save.
