There may be times when you need to reset a user's SelectHR password, for example, because they've forgotten it. The way to do this depends on whether your users log in via Access Evo.
Access Evo
If your users log into SelectHR via Access Evo, users can reset their own password by following the forgotten password process.
Manual sign-on
If your users log into SelectHR directly using a username and password, they can reset their password themselves, or you can do it on their behalf.
Via the website
If the user is going to reset their own password, they should follow the steps below.
On the SelectHR login screen, click I can't remember my password.
Enter your username then complete the captcha.
Click Request.
Once they've done this, they'll receive an email with a link to create a new password.
Via the Admin Tool
To reset a user's password via the Admin Tool, watch the video or follow the steps below.
Under Security, click User Accounts.
Double-click the relevant user account.
Click Reset Password then enter the new password.
Confirm the new password then click OK.
Select or clear the Change their password when they next log in option.
Click OK.
