Currently, SelectHR does not restrict users from assigning/requesting absence depending on the holiday entitlement available in the current year as it deducts it from the future holiday year entitlement.

When completing the task for absence approval, managers would be given the statistics for remaining absence, and it would be down to their discretion whether or not to approve this.

The standard functionality will clearly indicate what an employee's remaining entitlement is by looking at the statistics and, therefore, can determine how much they are able to book.
