The holiday statement is designed to show you levels of holiday accrual over different periods of time (such as for just the ordinary leave, additional leave or the full leave).

Each is calculated as follows:

Holiday Entitlement on Rule / Days in Year * Days of Leave = Holiday Entitlement.

It's important to know that the value shown in holiday entitlement does not include any holiday additions or public holiday allowances - it is only the basic entitlement accrued in the relevant period, as denoted by the start date and end date.

The value shown in the holiday entitlement field is also subject to the rounding rules applied to the holiday rule the employee is on during the dates of maternity leave.
