Error when accessing Admin Tool: Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer.

When attempting to open the Admin Tool from the hosted environment, the user may experience the error:

Your computer can't connect to the remote computer.

Your IT team should ensure that gateway.accessacloud.com is whitelisted by all Firewalls and Proxy Servers.

They should also ensure that your machine is not quarantining the connection to the Access servers via the gateway.

Please note that support will ask you to provide evidence that this check has been completed before providing any further assistance, as this is often the cause of the issue and needs to be checked first.

Account permissions

Please ensure you are trying to access the SelectHR administrator tool with a HR cloud account (CLOUD\HRxxxxx) and not a selectpay cloud account (CLOUD\Payxxxxx).

Cloud accounts are only configured to allow access to the relevant product type, so it will not be possible to log into the SelectHR administrator tool with a pay cloud account, and it will not be possible to log into payroll with a HR cloud account.

If you are still encountering this error after checking the above, raise a new case including the cloud user account you are having issues logging in with. Support will confirm with our hosting team that the cloud user has the necessary permissions to log in.
