Enter Right to Work information

Enter right to work information for an employee.

The Right to Work process in SelectHR allows you to store and manage key information relating to an employee’s eligibility to work, including nationality details, supporting documentation, and compliance checks. Keeping this information up to date is essential for maintaining legal compliance and ensuring accurate audit records.

View or amend Right to Work records

To view or amend an employee's right to work record, follow these steps.

  1. Click Employees, then click Employees.

  2. Click Right to Work.

  3. Select the relevant employee from the list to open their right to work record.

Working Time Directive
Here you can populate a value if the employee has signed out of the Working Time Directive.

Nationality Details
Here you can enter information relating to the employees Nationality, Passport Details, Settled & Pre Settled Status,

Online Check Details
This value, and the download icon, are populated automatically when you upload new supporting documents under the Online Check Details category. Once populated, you will be able to see the check dates as well as download the document that was uploaded for this check.

Supporting Documents
The New Supporting Documents Workflow, located at the top of the Form, will also populate the Supporting Documents fields seen here with information once uploaded and completed. You can download the uploaded document using the download icon.

New Supporting Documents Workflow
You can use this button in order to add the Online Check Documentation as well as any additional Supporting Documents. The Workflow will automatically take you through uploading the supporting document, as well as all relevant dates pertaining to that document.


Right to Work expiry batch job

There is a standard batch job in SelectHR called Right to Work Documentary Proof Expiry. This batch job automatically sends an email notification to HR, alerting them to any upcoming expiries of Right to Work documentation so that appropriate action can be taken in a timely manner.
