This error message suggests that the dependant record already exists in the Person.Dependants table. Duplications are not allowed in this table, so dependant information (Name and Date of Birth) must be unique.
Check if the record exists
Dependant records are assigned by the HR Team within the family leave event of the parent(s). It is possible to check which dependents are assigned to an employee via the Family Leave area of the system.
Under Absence, click Absence, then Family Leave.
Open the record for the parent of the dependent.
The dependents will be listed against each Family Event.
If the dependent record does not show in the family event area of the system, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
