Your database backups are managed differently depending on whether you are on a hosted or on-premise environment. The information below outlines what you can expect for each.

For on-premise installations, database backups are the responsibility of the customer. Access does not manage or monitor backups for on-premise environments.

For hosted environments, Access manages your database backups automatically. Backups are taken at regular intervals and retained according to the schedule below.

All backups are stored within a multi-tenancy data vault and are encrypted at rest.
