If an employee returns to work earlier than expected from a period of ordinary, additional, or paternity leave, the end date of their leave needs to be adjusted accordingly on the associated family event record.
You can do this by entering a Curtailment Date on the record.

To end a maternity or paternity record early, follow the steps below.
In the Absence zone, click Absence, then click Family Leave.
Select the relevant employee.
Under the Family Events tab, click on the black arrow next to the relevant family event to load that record.
Go down to the Curtailment Date field and enter the new final day of leave, then click the green Save button.
Now go back to the Family Leave Summary tab and observe that the new end date of the leave appears in the Ordinary End Date field.
