New employee with two appointments has come through with two payroll numbers

Employee has been sent through to SelectPay twice.

This is likely caused when an employee in SelectHR has multiple appointment records and each appointment is assigned a different payroll number.

This can happen if the setting to share the same payroll number across appointments is not enabled on the payroll record being used.

You can resolve this by enabling a setting on the payroll record and correcting any mismatched payroll numbers.

Enable the payroll setting to share concurrent payroll numbers

  1. Click Employees, then click Lookups.

  2. Click Pay, then select Payrolls.

  3. Open the relevant payroll.

  4. Find the Share Concurrent Payroll Number option.

  5. Enable this setting.

  6. Click Save.


Correct the payroll number on existing appointments

  1. Open the affected employee’s record.

  2. Go to the Appointments tab.

  3. Identify any appointment that has a different payroll number from the main appointment.

  4. Edit the appointment record.

  5. Update the payroll number to match the correct value.

  6. Click Save.
